Pray for me

As I stand on the brink

Of my garden

Naked

Covered in snow

Like a prophet

Returned from the earth

To plant

Ideas

Pray for me

As I exit the building

And walk the streets

Looking for something to eat

Looking for the intoxicating beat

Looking for a reason

To step the next step

Pray for me

Because I’m still hungry

For Ideas

For Snow that turns

To slush

And slides down my yearning throat

But is never enough

Is never enough

Pray for me

But only with your eyes closed

And your music turned up too loud
